Danjug Surfing Company was founded in March 2006. It is owned and operated by Martin Andanar, News Anchorman and TV Host of Associated Broadcasting Company Network (ABC), Philippines.
Danjug Surfing Company is the mother company of Danjug Surfing and Fishing Camp, Danjug Surfboards and Danjug Apparels (coming soon!)
and the sponsor of Danjug Team: Surfer’s of Siargao.
Danjug Surfing and Fishing Camp is located in Tangbo, Sta. Monica, Siargao Island. The camp is ideal for back packers who want to enjoy the relatively undeveloped area in the north side of Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, Philippines.
The camp is surrounded by Sta. Monica’s best tourist destinations. It is in front of the Bajuhan Surfing Area (perfect for people who want to learn surfing), in front of the Kibrada Ship Wreck Diving spot (Spanish Galleons sunk here during the Philippines and Mexic Trade in the 1600’s), just beside Danjug Cave (Muslim pirate Danjug hid his loot in this cave), 10 minutes
away from the Florentino Das Landing Spot (the first Filipino who sailed from Hawaii to the Philippines), 10 minutes away from Bita-ug Break Point(the biggest swells in
Siargao are found here during the Amihan Season), 15 minutes away from Rizal Surfing Area the longest surfing ride in Siargao can be found in this area), 15 minutes away from Alegria White Beach Stretch and 10 minutes away from Tak-Tak Waterfalls.
