How much does surfing training cost? Danjug has a staff that can train beginners. Cost of training is usually 150 Pesos per session and rental of long board is 300 Pesos. How to get there? Below are convenient options to get to Siargao Island. Plane 1. The best way to get to Siargao Island is to take a 45 minutes plane ride straight from Cebu City to Siargao Island. 2. The second best way to get to Siargao is to take an hour and twenty minutes plane ride from Manila to Surigao City. What makes this option tiresome is the 4-5 hours ferry ride from Surigao City to Siargao Island. If you want to go around the Island, you may take a bike ride for 150-300 Pesos only.

What is the curreny rate?

Currency Exchange is US$1=49 Pesos (as of May 10, 2008)

We advice tourists to exchange their currency in Manila, Cebu or Surigao City because there are no Money Changers in the island and locals tend to buy foreign currencies at a lower rate.

It has three air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 fan room, 6 toilets and baths, Kitchen, Satellite T.V and a Function Hall.

Does it have a restaurant?

The resort doesn’t have a restaurant, but it has a kitchen and a local chef. We usually eat the catch of the day.

What are the waves like?

The waves during the months of April to August are good for beginners. It’s summer during the months of April to June. However, waves are huge during the months of October to March

If you're after adventure. Apart from surfing, the resort is right next to an historic cave. It is also10 minutes away from Tak Tak waterfalls. If you eat fish or anything seafood, it’s abundant. The place is where the local fisher folks dock their boats after fishing.
